Introduction

The Blue Fog is Visconti’s newest addition to the well-known Rembrandt Collection titled in tribute to the Dutch Golden Age painter. Like its name suggests, the Blue Fog features pale gray swirls amidst moody medium and dark blue, reminiscent of a foggy day out at sea. The Blue Fog utilizes a magnetic closing system and Visconti’s famous “My Pen System” to enable personalization.

Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn is one of the most influential artists in art history, known for his ability to blend elements of earthly and spiritual life into his works. Rembrandt mastered chiaroscuro, an oil painting technique that uses strong contrasts between light and dark to represent three dimensional forms.
