Introduction

The Iznik GardenPencil by Retro51 reproduces a stonepaste dish in The Met collection and originally crafted in the Turkish town of Iznik, which was renowned for its pottery workshops. Thefloraltheme featured on the original plates were pervasive decorative elements on 16th- and 17th-century Iznik creations.

This1.15 mm pencilhasbeen carefully recreated with the images silkscreened onto the metal barrels and arefinished with polished chrome trim. It is loaded in The Met licensed packaging tube that doubles as a pen stand when it’s not in use, with extra lead and erasers.
