This pen by Delta celebrates the 200 years from Charles Darwins birth (1809-1882).
He was an English naturalist who conceived and presented compelling evidence that all species of life have evolved over time from common ancestors, through the process he called natural selection.
Evolution is a collection of writing instruments limited to 809 pieces in various versions, for honoring the personage and his Evolutionary Theory, which offered so much to society and science.

The marmorized blue fountain pen is cartridge/converter filled, with vermeil trim and a specific Delta 18k – 750 gold Medium (M) nib. The engraved design on the nib recalls Darwins studies.
The central band, engraved with tri-dimensional effect, is in vermeil. The drawing featured the famous Darwin sketch: Darwins finches.
This writing instrument is in perfect condition, never been used nor inked.
