The Leonardo pen features an elegant Bordeaux lacquer barrel and a gold-plated cap. The cap is adorned with lacquer-filled engravings inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s codex on the flight of birds.

Unique design elements include the gold-plated cap and a distinctive clip with an original joint movement, designed by Giampiero Bodino to evoke Leonardo da Vinci’s sketches on avian flight.

Aurora, founded in 1919 by Isaia Levi, has a rich history in the pen industry. Acquired by the Verona family, Aurora has produced iconic designs, notably the “Hastil,” designed by architect Marco Zanuso in 1969. The Hastil achieved significant acclaim, with a piece included in the Museum of Modern Art of New York’s collection. Aurora’s products, representing the first true Italian fountain pens, continue to be manufactured at their original factory in Turin, Italy.
