Introduction

Aurora continues its journey through the solar system, this time taking inspiration from the planet Neptune for its latest Stellar Collection limited edition fountain pen.

Each pen is engraved with its limited edition number out of 888 on the top of the cap, opposite the clip, and comes packaged in an elegant, black lacquered wood box with a commemorative sleeve to celebrate Aurora’s 100-year anniversary.

The Nettuno is made entirely in-house, including the nib and ebonite feed. The cap and barrel are made from marbled blue Auroloide, while the caps finial, grip section, and piston knob are made from black resin. The metal trim is chrome plated to match the rhodium plated, solid 18K gold nib. The nib is available in six widths: EF, F, M, B, BB, Stub and Italic.

Like all 88s, the 888 Nettuno features Auroras unique piston filler design with asecondary ink reserve. When the pen runs dry, extend the piston to access enough ink for several more pages of writing. The piston knob will remain extended, acting as a reminder to refill thepen while still allowing the cap to be posted.

The Aurora 888 Nettuno is the 6th release in Auroras Stellar Collection after the well received Nebulosa, Sole, Marte, Urano and Saturno.
