The fluted motif seen along the cap and barrel is inspired by and recalls the lines of a Doric column, although applied in a lighter and more slender line that is closer to the Corinthian design, making this writing instrument an interesting combination of two of the most classic styles seen in Ancient Greek architecture.

The main material of the body is platinum plated silver, combined with black resin.
