The newest Visconti Homo Sapiens is now available in all black! As before the pen is handmade from basaltic lava from Mt Etna to produce a unique writing instrument with incredible properties.

The Homo Sapiens Dark Age collection uses the Visconti Dreamtouch 18kt ruthenium plated nib. The maxi (oversized) uses a “power-filler,” vacuum ink system. And the midi (medium) sized fountain pen use a piston-filling system actuated by rotating the blind cap.
